I started with drawing on walls and gradually began experimenting with various mediums. What began as a hobby became a vital means of self-expression, allowing me to play with colors and create imperfect yet meaningful pieces.
Music is another cornerstone of my life. From the soaring melodies of cinematic orchestral compositions to the timeless masterpieces of Mozart and Vivaldi, I find immense joy and inspiration in the vast realm of classical music. My journey with music began with training in Carnatic vocal music in India, where I discovered the profound connection between sound and emotion.
Beyond the realms of art and music, I'm an avid birder and wildlife enthusiast. Exploring the wilderness with my binoculars and camera in hand brings me unparalleled joy, and I'm constantly awed by the diversity and majesty of the natural world. My passion for birds has led me to spend significant time in forests, participating in bird surveys. It was during these experiences that I truly grasped the interconnectedness of ecosystems, witnessing firsthand how every creature, from the smallest songbird to the mightiest predator, plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of nature. Although I earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Design, my passion for addressing environmental challenges has always driven me. I believe design is a powerful tool to tackle climate issues. Early in my academic journey, I was introduced to concepts like biomimicry, sustainability, and systems thinking, which sparked my interest in this field. However, I lacked the necessary tools at the time to fully pursue it. My master's program, however, provided the opportunity to delve deeper into design with a focus on circularity and sustainability, allowing me to further develop my skills in this area.
I am passionate about integrating service, product, and visual design to create solutions that align with the principles of the circular economy. This approach allows me to contribute to sustainable innovation while addressing the environmental challenges we face today. Simultaneously, I am working on upskilling in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to gain a deeper understanding of how these principles are implemented in the industry. This knowledge will allow me to bridge the gap between design and sustainable business practices, empowering me to drive impactful, responsible innovation.
